By using the Righto website or app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Righto.
2. What Righto provides
Righto provides general legal information focused on Victoria, Australia. It does not provide legal advice, representation or emergency assistance. Use of Righto does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for decisions you make. Do not rely on Righto as the only source for a time-sensitive, high-risk or personal legal matter. Check current official information and seek advice from a qualified lawyer when appropriate.
4. Availability and accuracy
We aim to provide clear and useful information, but laws, policies and procedures can change. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that every item will always be complete, current, error-free or available.
5. Purchases
The iOS app is sold through Apple’s App Store. Payment, family sharing, redownloads and refunds are also subject to Apple’s terms. The advertised launch price is A$2.99 as a one-time purchase, but the price shown in the App Store at purchase is authoritative.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Righto, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or reproduce substantial parts of its content, or use it unlawfully.
7. Intellectual property
Righto’s branding, design and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Links and references to third-party material do not transfer ownership of that material.
8. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Righto is not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information, service interruption or third-party services.
